Welcome to the Year 6 Webpage
Year 6 is an extremely important and rewarding year, as it's your last year in primary school. Therefore, it's extremely important that you work hard, complete all homework and complete all revision. You need to ensure you take full responsibility of your own learning, if your want to make the most out of the year and achieve your full potential.
However, even though Year 6 is a challenging year, it is also a rewarding year with plenty of fun and exciting opportunities planned in. If you wish to take part in all of these exciting activities, then you need to ensure you keep up with your responsibilities.
Important Reminders:
Ukuleles need to be brought in on a Monday
P.E. kits need to be brought in on a Monday and taken home on a Friday
Homework club runs from 12-12.30pm every day in the Year 6 classroom

Monday- maths homework given- due Wednesday
Tuesday- SPaG homework given- due Thursday
Wednesday- English homework given- due Friday
Spelling test and homework - hw due Tuesday, test Wednesday
Thursday- arithmetic homework given- due Monday
Friday- maths homework given- due Tuesday
Reading- reading records checked several times a week. Please listen to your child read every night and ask them questions about what they have read. The links at the bottom of this page can support with helping your child read at home.
Revision is checked on a Tuesday and Friday
