Welcome to the Year 5 Class Page!

Here you will find most of the information you need for Year 5, along with homework, timetables and revision websites.


Diary

Diaries need to be brought to school every day and taken home each night. They need to be signed for a Monday morning.


Homework

It is essential that homework is done for the specific date it is due in for, as it will form part of lessons.


Timetable 

Monday: Maths homework - to be handed in for Wednesday

Comprehension - to be handed in for the following Monday

Tuesday: SPAG homework - to be handed in for Friday
Wednesday: Science homework - to be handed in for the following Wednesday
Friday: English homework - to be in for Tuesday
Spellings - to be in for the following Friday
 

PE Kit

This needs to be brought in every Monday and taken home on a Friday. After February half term, Year 5 will also have swimming on a Monday.

On Wednesday 2nd October, Years 3-5 will have the opportunity to visit one of the strangest places on Earth.... the Forbidden Corner! This promises to be a fantastic day! Please see the link below and visit the website.

  • KS 2 Revision Here you will find revision material for: English, mathematics and science. you will be expected to use this page, in order to keep on top of your revision. This is KS2 revision. You will also need to use the KS3 revision link.
  • KS 3 Revision A lot of what you will be taught will be from the KS 3 curriculum, therefore, you will be expected to use this revision website to recap on vital learning. Anything that is unclear to you on here, look up on the KS 2 revision pages, as they explained in more detail.
  • McMillian Cancer Support On 26th September Year 5 will be holding a coffee and cake afternoon to raise vital funds for McMillian Cancer Support. Have a look at their webpage to see how the money we raise will help.
  • BBC Skills Wise You need to be carrying out the English and Maths activities and revision.
