Although it was wet, Year 6 had a brilliant day walking in the countryside that surrounds our school. Whilst taking shelter under the bridges, Mr Sarker (our mountain guide) taught the children how to read maps of our local area and how to use a compass. The children then took turns, in their groups, to navigate us to different locations. A great learning day with lots of fun. Especially running through the huge puddles at the end of our day!
