At Greenhill Primary School the promotion of pupils’ spiritual, moral, social and cultural education is considered to be ‘a whole school issue’. Spiritual, Moral, Social and Cultural Development is promoted not only through all the subjects of the curriculum, but also through the ethos of the school and through the development of positive attitudes and values and planned time for reflection. SMSC supports, expresses and reinforces the aims of Greenhill Primary School, valuing all children and staff equally, and as individuals.
''Pupil difference is celebrated and the recognising of individual strengths and weaknesses is the foundation of teacher action and intervention. All children feel the nurture this school gives and know that their contribution to maintain this climate is essential.'' (IQM Report July 2012)
''This school works assiduously to counteract the sense of predictive futures and constantly lifts the aspirations and goals of all its children.'' (IQM Report July 2012)
