Both children and parent's engaged with the issues of online e-safety. Throughout the school classes focused on aspects of e-safety and learnt how and whom to report a problem to.
Parent's attended an E-safety Presentation led by our Computing Subject Leader Mr Hunter-Kelm in order to make families aware of the online e-safety issues there children face today. Moreover, an opportunity was given at the end of the presentation to install free parent control software 'K9 protection' on any devices that were brought.
Furthermore, the success of the day was reported in the local Wakefield Express newspaper to highlight the importance of the e-safety issues faced by our children and families.

This is an assembly from CEOPs Thinkuknow education programme that helps children to understand what constitutes personal information. The assembly enables children to understand that they need to be just as protective of their personal information online, as they are in the real world.
