The Department for Education have once again recognised the excellent progress the children have made. We received a letter from David Laws, Minister of State for Schools, which congratulated us on the excellent performance of pupils in the 2013 tests. He said, “Your results show you are amongst the 250 top performing schools in terms of the progress all your pupils make between key stage 1 and the end of key stage 2.” Mr Laws said this “provided pupils with a good start in life and a strong springboard into secondary education.”
This success is due to the commitment of everyone connected with the school to ensure that the children have the best education possible. The children have wonderful attitudes to their learning which enables them to make the most of the hard work and dedication of the staff team. I would like to thank all parents for the fantastic support that you give to the school and to your children’s education.
