New Lockdown Procedures

 

Dear Parents,

 

In line with the government guidance, the school has now moved to remote learning and I want to give you information about how that will happen.

 

Online learning

 

Each class will have daily lessons posted on the class pages of the school website. Please use the link below to find your child’s class.

We will also use the class blogs to give and receive feedback. You or your children can use the class blog to ask questions about the work that children have been set.

There will also be a weekly telephone call home to ensure that we keep in contact with all of the children and families. This will provide an opportunity to ask questions and seek any further guidance about the work that is being set.

 

 

Work Packs

We will be providing work packs for all of the children. The work packs will include workbooks, reading book, additional activities, exercise books, a pencil, coloured pencils and a ruler. The first pack will be available for collection during the following times. You should include the collection of work as part of your allowed exercise for the day.

Wednesday 6^th January 10am-12pm  or  Wednesday 6^th January 1pm-2pm

Thursday 7^th January 10am-12pm or Thursday 7^th January 1pm -2pm

 

To avoid congestion, we have 4 collection points:

Upper Foundation and Lower Foundation: Main Nursery door

Year 1 and Year 2: Key stage 1 entrance

Year 3 and Year 4: School hall door

Year 5 and Year 6: Key Stage 2 entrance

 

Critical Workers

If you have no alternative, then places will be available in school for children of critical workers. To access a place please email: family@greenhill.wakefield.sch.uk Please let us know which category of critical worker you belong to as well as the name and class of your child. Once we have these details we will be in touch to confirm the arrangements for attendance.
