Greenhill Christmas Food Bank Collection
This year has presented us all with many challenges and been incredibly hard for many families across the country and here in our own local community.
As a staff team we are not sending Christmas cards this year but have decided to hold a food collection to be donated to a local community Eastmoor Community Hub Food Bank distributed from the St Swithun’s Community Centre in Eastmoor. These local foodbanks have helped so many families and continue to do so.
We would like to ask if you too are able to send in any food or personal hygiene products that can be used to make up a Christmas Hamper to help a family in our community.
If you are in a position to help please send into school any non-perishable food items or personal care products with your child by Tuesday 15th December: Tins, biscuits, cereal, soups, rice, pasta, chocolate selection boxes, snacks or shampoo, deodorant, toothpaste, soap, cleaning products, anything you feel able to spare. We will then arrange for these food gifts to be delivered, after a 72hr quarantine period to the Eastmoor Community Hub Food Bank, St Swithun’s Centre to support local families.
Any food or personal items that you can donate will be greatly appreciated, especially at this time of year.
Thank you for your continued support and wishing you all a very Merry Christmas
The Greenhill School Staff Team
