WALT: recognise fractions bigger than 1 whole. 

 

S2S: 

• The denominator and numerator have to be the same to make it a whole.
• When the numerator is bigger than the denominator it is an improper fraction.
• A mixed number fraction shows the wholes and fraction remaining.
