WALT – Count up in 2s, 5s and 10s.
Practice your 2s, 5s and 10s times tables on your sheet or book.
We have been learning how to count up 2s, 5s and 10s whilst using cubes and 10s sticks.
Use the objects from around your house. – Pennies, pasta etc.
Can you find- 2 more than 8? Use the items that you have chosen to help get the answer. What answer did you get?
Can you find- 5 more than 24? represent the answer on a sheet on paper using pictures- lines for the number 10 and dots to represent the 1s (as done in school).
On the left side of these pictures, I have shown you how to represent 5 more than 10 they are the same question but in a different way.
Now go and do the worksheet in your home learning packs. I want you to represent the answers using lines and dots.
