WALT: To round to the nearest whole number

 

StS

1.Use place value.

2. Look at the digit before the whole number, in the tenths column.

3. If is 5, 6, 7, 8 or 9 round up the whole number.

4. If it is 4, 3, 2, 1 the whole number remains the same.
