Lower Foundation

This half-term we are learning about Minibeasts!

The first story we are going to read and

learn about is, 'The Very Hungry Caterpillar.' 

This is one of Mrs Apperley's favourite stories.

Our topic this half term is 'Autumn and Christmas.'

In maths we are learning to:

  • count to 10 and beyond,
  • name colours
  • name 2D shapes, circle, square, rectangle and triangle. 
  • use positional language in, on, under, in front of, behind

Outdoor Learning

Outdoor learning takes place everyday in the foundation stage whatever the weather! Please ensure your child is wearing suitable shoes and has a warm coat. Waterproofs and wellies are provided by school if they are needed.
