WALT: answer the question: were the Ancient Maya really blood-thirsty?

Year 6, I want you do some secondary research on the internet to find out information about the Ancient Maya to answer the question: were they really blood thirsty?

You can type in questions such as:

Did they made sacrifices? Did they fight and go to war? Were they intelligent and civilised?

 

You need to answer the question, were the Ancient Maya blood-thirsty by finding evidence for and against and then answering the question.

You can present the information however you wish. This could be by splitting the page into two and writing for and against points, a balanced argument writing, a poster or a PowerPoint online.
