Fruit Salad
Upper Foundation have had a busy week planning and making their fruit salads! We started by reading the story ‘Handa’s surprise’ and discussing the different fruits in the story, we used our 5 senses to investigate each fruit and then picked our favourite for our fruit salad recipes. We then prepared our fruits, peeling, cutting and scooping them out and prepared our salads using our recipe ingredients. Once finished we ate our fruit salads and wrote our recipes using pictures and our fantastic phonics skills.
