Good morning everybody!
Today’s activities are as follows
Phonics
Today we are going to be learning the “qu” Sound
Can you try and write different words that contain the “qu” digraph?
Challenge
Can you write a sentence using the digraph “qu”?

Today I would like you to create your own emergency vehicle.
What would it need and why?
Sirens, hosepipes and ladders, bright colours.
You could either draw your vehicle or make your vehicles out of old boxes, bottle tops and cardboard tubes.

This week we are going to look at patterns
To finish our pattern week, I would like to finish with a little game you can do at home.
All you need is different items that you have 2 of e.g. cups, bears, books, socks, cards.
I have used socks.
How quickly can you find the matching pairs!
Set this up at home and race to match them all!
Can you match the patterns on the socks?
Can you time yourself? How many socks did you match in the time?
You can also make your own patterns online!
Friday relaxation Yoga!
A great way to get your body moving is with Yoga! Cosmic Kids Yoga is a fantastic YouTube show, to get involved! Here is a video for Friday to help you unwind after your week of Home Learning!
