Christmas Decorations
Design and Technology
Year 2 have been designing and creating their own Christmas decorations. Firstly, the children evaluated and explored the design brief - picking out the key features which must be included in their final designs. We then explored the Scandinavian culture and the materials historically used to create Christmas gifts and ornaments. The children each followed the design, make and evaluation process in order to generate purposeful and appealing products which meet the design criteria. Year 2 created some amazing Christmas decorations which they are extremely proud of!
