Y4 spent a day learning how to love off the land. They visited the Southern Washlands to spend a day shipwrecked. This linked to their learning in Literacy. They also learnt how to work as a team and create shelters using nothing but what they could find. Some children butchered wild animals and then cooked them on their own fires. They then sat down to a feast of squirrel and rabbit with a warm drink. All children involved used tools to chop down trees and create their own tinder. Here are just a collection of photographs from the day. More are available on Y4's homepage.
