Medieval Chantry Chapel Visit

In History, Year 2 visited the Medieval Chantry Chapel to learn about significant historical events, people and places in their own locality. It is only one of three surviving bridge chapels in the country. We met Jude at the Chapel who led us through workshops about the history of the Chapel, what it was used for and how it is embraced today.

The children role played creating bridges, singing Highway Rat songs and we even had the opportunity to dress up a child from Year 2 as a pries. Can you guess who it is?
